Octopus buys Virgin Money investment arm to accelerate wealth push

Octopus plans to accelerate its push into the UK retail wealth market following a deal to buy Virgin Money’s investment arm.

Octopus Money, the group’s online investment platform, has agreed to purchase Virgin Money Investments subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority, it said in a statement on 5 August.
